Sneak Peek – A Glimpse Inside the Scenario
Here’s a short glimpse of scenario:

I was just wrapping up a long day.
Most of my patients were regulars—routine checkups, minor injuries, the usual.
I’d already started closing down the office when the phone rang.
I almost let it go to voicemail.
But something told me to pick up.
“Doctor Hale speaking.”
Her voice was soft. Curious. A little unsure.
“Hi… I’m calling about a possible skin check. I noticed something new on my thigh… It might be nothing, but it’s in a bit of a private area.”
I stayed professional. Calm.
“We can take a look. I have a late slot open — 8:30, if that works.”
She hesitated. Then:
“That’s perfect. Thank you.”
I noted her name. Initials only. ‘S.’ A referral.
I hung up and looked around the office.
Everything was quiet. Clean. Still.
Something about her voice stayed with me. Not just nervousness… something warmer. Curious. Intimate.
At 8:28, I heard the door open.
She stepped inside.
Black jeans. Loose top. Hair tied up. Calm. Confident. But her eyes gave it away — there was something else under the surface.
“Hi,” she said. “I’m here for the 8:30?”
I nodded. “Come on in.”
She followed me to the exam room.
I gestured to the chair. “Just a quick chat before we begin. Anything unusual? Any history with moles or skin issues?”
She shook her head. “No… It’s new. Upper thigh. I noticed it yesterday. I just want to be sure.”
I nodded. “That’s what I’m here for.”

I didn’t expect to feel nervous.
It was just a checkup. Just a small mark on my thigh I wanted looked at. Probably nothing.
But when I found his practice online and saw his photo, calm eyes, clean-cut, maybe early 40s, something inside me stirred. I told myself that wasn’t why I picked him. But maybe… maybe it was part of it.
I booked the appointment that morning. Simple call.
“Hi. I noticed a small skin mark on my upper thigh and I’d like to have it examined. It’s probably nothing, but I’d like a professional opinion.”
His voice was low and kind. “Of course. I have a slot at 4:15 today. Does that work?”
“Yes,” I said, maybe too quickly.
The clinic was modern. Clean. Neutral colors, soft lights. A gentle kind of quiet.
He came to the front himself.
He looked even better in person. Not in a flashy way — just something about his posture, the way he moved, his presence. He wore a simple white coat, open at the collar.
“Hi,” he said, offering his hand.
I shook it. “I’m here for the 4:15.”
He smiled. “Right. Please, come in.”
His exam room was tidy, a soft scent in the air. Something minty. He gestured to the chair. I sat.
“So, what brings you in?”
I lifted the hem of my skirt a little. “There’s a new mark on my thigh. Left side. It’s probably nothing, but I’d like to be sure.”
He nodded. “No problem. We’ll take a look.”
